Meet Dr. Kate

Growing up, Dr. Kate was an extremely active kid, a competitive gymnast and a world-level cheerleader. As she got older, this passion evolved into a love for running, rock climbing, ice climbing, and hiking. Through these sports, She has experienced her fair share of injuries, which ultimately led her to discover chiropractic care and its incredible impact. This journey sparked her passion for helping others realize just how strong and resilient the human body can be.

Dr. Kate began her academic journey at MacEwan University, studying Physical Anthropology and Archaeology in Edmonton, Alberta. While she loved the field, she knew she wanted a career that combined healthcare with helping people reach their goals. This led her to Portland, Oregon, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology alongside her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree at the University of Western States (UWS).

In her clinical practice, she uses a combination of:

  • Diversified (hands-on) chiropractic adjustments

  • Soft tissue manual therapy

  • Rehabilitative exercise

  • The McKenzie Method/MDT

She has a special interest in complex, chronic, and long-standing neurological conditions, and is also experienced in treating climbing-related injuries and stressors.

When she is not in the office, you’ll likely find her on a mountain adventure with her husband or curled up with a good book and her dog. Looking forward to seeing you in the office!
